In ancient times, human beings used different methods to crush corn and wheat into flour. Flour was obtained by putting the grains in the hollow and large stones and compressing the wheat. In the later times, wheat was turned into flour by turning the stones with a lever between two stones with stone hand mills. As time progressed, mankind built water mills and flour mills to reduce manpower.
